Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal To Be Married

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly set to be married. Friends of the actress claim Gyllenhaal proposed during a Rome vacation in October, but Witherspoon said “not yet” as she had recently split from her husband Ryan Phillippe.

Sources say Witherspoon has not agreed to marry her “Rendition” co-star. “Not only were they (her friends) crazy about Jake, they could see he was absolutely nuts about her. But you’ve got to understand – Reese is a one-woman who hates playing the field,” a friend says. “When Jake proposed in Rome, he knew Reese needed time, and didn’t really expect her to say ‘yes’ right away.”
