Police to Testify in Britney Spears Case

Police and paramedics who treated Britney Spears last Thursday night will testify in her custody hearing on Monday. The singer was hospitalized Thursday night after locking herself in a bathroom with her youngest son. She was transported to the hospital strapped down to a stretcher.

Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, requested that her visitation rights be stripped until the hearing on January 14. His lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has subpoenaed the officer and medical personnel at the scene.

“The emergency personnel will describe what transpired that night,” says a source.

A family lawyer who is not involved in Spears’ case says it is “extremely unlikely” the troubled singer will be rewarded visitation. Federline and Spears’ custody trail begins in April.
