Sports Illustrated and Victoria Secret Model Marissa Miller picture and pic image photo with Harley Davidson Show in celeb news blogYou've no doubt seen Marisa Miller, either gracing the pages of "Sports Illustrated's" Swimsuit Issue or walking the Victoria's Secret runway or, most recently, promoting the NFL. But there's also a chance you have caught sight of her flying down the main road on her motorcycle -- and did not even realize it.
Marisa wants you to show your appreciation for active and retired soldiery by sending a message of gratitude to them to commemorate "Military Appreciation Month."
"Sometimes while I am riding my motorcycle, I've my full face helmet on. People can not tell it is Marisa Miller, but they know it is a girl," Miller said with a laughter during an interview with FanHouse Tuesday. I get a lot of guys giving thumbs-up and honking their horns.
"It's cool to break stereotypes. I've met a lot of women who ride -- 23 percent of riders are women. I got my own bike and it's one of the best things that I've ever done."
Supermodel and Harley rider Marisa Miller is also teaming with Harley-Davidson to help honor our troops. Miller encourages Americans across the country to log onto the Harley-Davidson internet site, and make a personal message of gratitude to an active or retired member of the United States. that will be forwarded a post card featuring Miller and military-themed Harley-Davidson bikes.

Harley-Davidson, wisely taking advantage of the fact that among the world's most recognizable women rides their motorcycles, recruited Miller to help them pay tribute to U.S. service personnel the world over for "Military Appreciation Month," which centres around Armistice Day.
"Anytime while you are passionate about something personally and you can work that into your career and your platform, it is amazing," Miller said. "This is definitely near and dear to my heart. My grandfather is a veteran, my uncle is a veteran, so it was a great opportunity. This was actually a dream come true."
