Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins on Saturday night, a baby boy Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline. Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt, remained by her bedside at the hospital in southern France when she delivered the twins by Caesarean section.
According to the doctor delivering the twins the birth had been moved forward “for medical reasons” but did not elaborate.
Jolie and Pitt had one biological child together, Shiloh Nouvel, and three adopted children before Saturday evening. Their adopted children are Cambodian born Maddox and Vietnamese born Pax and one daughter, Ethiopian born Zahara.
Vivienne Marcheline was named after Jolie’s mother who passed away from cancer last year. (news.finditt.com)
